Since I bowed out of this tournament so early, I've started looking at players for the franchise tournament. The no-DH thing is already starting to piss me off since I can only have one of Olerud, Delgado, McGriff and Encarnacion in the lineup at a time. At least I'll have a bunch of superstar bats on the bench.

Oh yeah, and Paul Molitor. And Dave Winfield.

Side note, I was looking up Albert Belle and happened to notice that he lost the 1995 AL MVP Award to Mo Vaughn. More importantly: MO VAUGHN STOLE 11 BASES IN 1995! That blew my mind!
Like the glitch in NBA Jam have you guys heard about that? The creator is a Knicks fan and he made a glitch in the game that the Bulls would miss every last second shot. Hilarious.

Belle kinda got screwed in 95 as far as MVP goes. No offense Red Socks I loved me some Mo Vaughn.

Can't Encarnacion play third in a pinch?

I don't know how accurate the defense is in these sims, but have you seen Encarnacion play third in real life?

Also, Bautista could play third to open up an extra spot in the outfield.

Yeah, as evidenced by Alex Gordons play at third in these sims, you're probably best to keep people at the right position, because it seems to just assume OUT OF POSITION if they didnt play that position, that season- even if they played it decently in other seasons.

Pujols hasn't been a problem at 3rd.

Delgado came up as a catcher and played a total of 5 innings there early in his major league career. It's tempting.

Was that against the Tigers? I feel like I knew that.

I always forget Delgado and Pablo Sandoval came up as catchers.

Really wanting the Rangers to go after Panda in the offseason. He can DH for a year or two and take over for Beltre at 3rd down the road.

True true. A lot will all depend if we rush Joey Gallo or not and if we see him as a 3rd baseman long term. I hope he stays in the minors most of 2015 though.

Ties it up off of Mariano Rivera only to lose in the bottom of the inning! Damned defined bullpen "roles." Tyler Clippard gives up the winning run while Eric Gagne gets the day off.
