they should have just kept this to an EP for the first 4 songs
There's something that happens at the 3:40 mark ("luminous thoughts...") that I am not sure how to describe- the rhythm changes slightly, maybe there's more to it, but it practically brings tears to my eyes every time. A sincerely beautiful moment that really loads up that "fire in the engine room" lyric.VinylGuy wrote:Blasting this one..vinyl...damn side A is untouchable
I loooove 7 O Clock so fucking much....love what Jeff is doing in all the song, and those guitarssss![]()
I feel the same way about Comes Then Goes. It should be half as long as it is.VinylGuy wrote:the one i dont care these days is comes then goes...which is a song i really like and im impressed and moved by ed's delivery, but i dont need to listen to it

Yep. It's Never Destination for me instead of SBWM but still. No skips.Ms Harmless wrote:I still don't think there's a bad song on this, my least fave is SBWM at this point but still, no skips

The live versions of some of the tracks are a bit better but all this mid-tempo shit about checking your heart-rate and wearing your seatbelt is as bad as anything on Backspacer.Jorge wrote:Mickey is not lying, I can see him listening on my Spotify Friends feed
pearl jam band members are pushing 60, heart-rate is probably a daily worryMickey wrote:The live versions of some of the tracks are a bit better but all this mid-tempo shit about checking your heart-rate and wearing your seatbelt is as bad as anything on Backspacer.Jorge wrote:Mickey is not lying, I can see him listening on my Spotify Friends feed
