That's a very negative comment to make about the band and their songs. I think you owe Ed an apology.
I think you need to open your cake hole and suck my hoo hah dilly!

that chorus is good. Leave it alone. It's like an alcoholic with nothing to live for deciding 'fuck it, I'm gonna dance anyway'

I'm going to order the 10C Lightning Bolt CD and download today.
Do I choose Apple Lossless? I just want something that will go into iTunes easily, and I figure I'm getting the CD for my car anyway, so I'll have good sound there.
Next to flac, is Apple Lossless the next best choice?
Chud?

Yup. It's achieving exactly what it wants.

We are going to streamline RM 4.0 by having me type out a list of all my opinions on everything, and people will just post by rating everything on a scale of 1-5. 5 being strongly agree and 1 being strongly disagree. It will be more efficient and without the capacity for expression no one's feelings will ever be hurt.
Except mine, I guess.

who knows what thread I said this in, but I described this song to a friend as follows
Me: Imagine ZZ Top, Muse, and Shania Twain wrote a song together, and then Pearl Jam covered it
My friend: I can't.

Probably. You don't have to chose 1 BTW. Both singles have been avail in all formats to download for me.

As far as I know they flac and Apple Lossless have no difference in quality as they're both lossless. Apple Lossless should go into Itunes easily.

Mine wrote:This are a couple of quotes from the Italian RS interview with Stone
- Spoiler: show
- regarding songwriting/in response why it took them so much time to resume "spreading their blessing"
Stone wrote:Each of us brings in a package of demos. We go in the studio, mostly without Eddie, and we start to improvise together on those demos. We end up with a Cd with 14 to 15 tracks that we give to Eddie. The we go back in the studio and redo everything 2 to 3 times. At the end of all this we play the songs for Brendan. The songs take shape in this way, like a dialogue, then without realising it we're in LA recording the definitive versions. This time it took as longer.
Than he specifies the process does change from song to song :
Stone wrote:Sometimes the lyrics come 1st. I like this method because the lyrics can push the arrangements in directions that are completely new, making you do things you wouldn't normally do. Mostly what comes 1st is the music, the melody, that while it takes shape brings the lyrics along.
about touring/family
Stone wrote:You miss your family a lot on tour. Being away from a 6 year old daughter seems like forever. When i can i take her with me.
Ours is a spacial case. We can choose, and we do, to do only 3 week per leg long tours. We try not to overdo it: It's only rock and roll, the safety of the universe is not in question here. It's more important to take care of ourselves. This is probably why the band lasts as long, because we're still having fun.
On continuing with the band in the future/about keeping the band together as old men with gray hair like the Rolling Stones and others
Stone wrote:I don't see why we should stop touring at 60. Maybe at some point we'll say : "Ok, this was nice, but that's it!" As of now we have no intention to.
Oh the introduction to the interview reads something like this:
What makes Pearl Jam special, as they confirmed to the Italian Rolling Stone, is their public, Italians especially. All those fans that have always followed them as if they were a religion and after 4 years of wait are dying to hear the new record Lightning Bolt
I found those quotes om some Italian site and translated it but it's not the whole thing i presume. Just wanted to point out in case it looks fake.

yes, according to chud when I asked something similar a few weeks.
Presumably that hasn't changed.

It doesn't bother me. Dislike the song all you want, but I'm pretty sure you've shit on similar comments I've made myself about other songs, so I'm just pulling your leg.

It's like a rick roll but real and therefore that little bit more more painful.
stip wrote:that chorus is good. Leave it alone. It's like an alcoholic with nothing to live for deciding 'fuck it, I'm gonna dance anyway'
And the song is going 'yeah go for it! Everybody join in!' Instead of 'Bro this probably isn't a good idea, i mean you're gonna feel awful in the morning, maybe you should get some he- did you just hurl all over my shoes?"
Which is what it was going for yes, but why does it have to sound so chee-zay in the process?
