I won't start one myself but I would support a motion to confine all posts concerning the present-day doings of Dave Abbruzzese -- musical, legal, or other -- to a single thread that gets "opposite-stickied," a revolutionary board maintenance tool I just thought up which allows threads to perpetually remain on the last page.

I listened to the main set of this show over the last few days (haven't made it to the encores yet) and I have to agree, it's definitely one of the stronger performances I've heard from Ed and the band in recent years. Sorry, i just bought tickets to see "The who" so i went down a rabbit hole and this popped up. I always loved Ed's cover of this song. His voice is so perfect for it.
This band was just on fire and Jack Irons was just perfect.

and they're playing it that well when it seems they were not prepared to play it at all. helps to have a killer drummer.

Im not sure there was a better lineup in history to be honest
Mr. Soul at the 20:00 mark or so. When Jack Kicks into the intro you can even tell Neil feels it. Fuck.

though im sure its the fault of both camps. Neil has collaborated with The Promise of the Real for a few years now, though they aren't really at the level of pearl jam circa 1995.
