This election is going to be such a clusterfuck.

The US has had 58 presidential elections in its history, most have determined a clear and valid winner (although I appreciate some issues with a stolen election here or there). Suddenly the whole system is stuffed and poor Donnie is upset about ballots?

(I actually agree the system is kinda stuffed, but not because of ballots - the electoral college is unbelievable bad, but its the rules of your game, so be it).

As an outsider looking in to the machinations around the Republican Party, specifically with respect to the Supreme Court and the election, it looks more and more as if the US is on its way to becoming a facist dictatorship. Trump fawns at the feet of those strong men world leaders he idolises (Putin, Kim Jong-un, Xi, Erdogan et all) and is seemingly throwing a sook because he isn't allowed to just stay and play like they are.

If you don't get rid of him now my bet is he makes the Constitutional changes to remove the 2 term limit.

Oh, and with the Supreme Court fuckery, if he gets back in the likelihood is he'll manage to get another one or two judges on the Supreme Court. Then it will be time to overturn Roe vs Wade and make abortion illegal again. Gotta keep that braindead base happy.

A constitutional amendment requires 2/3 of both the House and Senate to propose and 3/4 of the states to ratify.
