No one understands what the fuck you're talking about, you fucking liberal elitist. I can't vote for you.
How much did you pay last year in taxes? Was it more or less than $750?

You've made your point, but the question you don't seem to be able to answer is, "Who does this appeal to?"

low information voters.
Today was interviewing mothers in Avon, OH outside of Cleveland, and there was a mother voting for Trump. "I just keep hearing things about how he's having cognitive problems."
That's a completely made up pile of shit that Trump says over and over and over again. Next thing you know, all these fucking idiots who still haven't decided which President is for them think they've been hearing about this thing and it sounds problematic.

Biden spends less than $750 each year on his prescription medications.

It depends on who the actual undecided voter left actually is. Is it some guy in the suburbs who voted Trump "for a change" in 2016 but is thinking of holding his nose and voting for Biden this time? Would this work on him? Maybe? I honestly don't know. I feel like, too often, we conflate "this won't convince his base" with "this won't convince anyone." Part of that is the media's fault, with so much attention on the Trump voter (how many hundreds of Rust Belt diners got written about in the past four years) that we actually start thinking that represents the median voter.
Of course it's not going to convince his hardcore base, but no one was asking Romney what he was going to do to court people in Brooklyn. I'm not saying that's what's happening here, but it's a broader thing that always comes up when these conversations happen that's odd to me.
I think the much bigger reason it's unlikely to matter is that by now, I'd imagine most people have pretty much already made up their mind.

Guys, this is why we keep losing.
It costs us nothing to repeat the fuck out of $750. People won't remember all the places they hear it. They'll just know they've heard about the $750.
No one with a brain is in the undecided group, and even if they are. These tricks work on all people from the smartest to the stupidest. Repeated messages eventually feel true and relevant.

I don't think we covered the bold enough in this thread, especially in regard to said message being true or not.

I've long held that Connecticut is one of the worst states.

But is that really saying anything? Is it telling us that the country, including moderates and independents, are equally interested in questions about Biden's ear piece and Trump's taxes? Or is it telling us that a certain portion of the country is just really, really in the rabbit hole on Biden's ear piece (or it could be telling us that only a certain portion of the country cares about Trump's taxes). The intensity of Trump's base doesn't mean they're swing voters; it's just the opposite.
This isn't me saying a focus on Trump's taxes would work; I have no idea how Americans are going to react to things. But again, not swinging Trump's base doesn't really mean anything.

This isn’t going to go well. Trump has nothing to lose and is already hedging on debate performance (drugs, ear pieces, etc.).
Biden is leading and has everything to lose. That he has to stand on equal footing with a firehose of disinformation.

From paying $0 some years to receiving $70M+ in income tax refunds,
here are the most damning findings from Trump's tax data over the last 20 years

true or not im not going to look. they are saying he paid is taxes in earlier years as an overage and instead of asking for the money back he overpaid told IRS to keep it for future taxes
two things pop into my head if this is true
why not come out with this plausible explanation (i do the same thing just not on that scale) to shut people up unless he is looking to drop it as a gotchya moment at tonights debate if its brought up
