It wasn't in my original consideration I have to be honest but of you think so.
She seems like a cool girl. I hope she's made of stern stuff. From today on her life and every minute detail of it is going to be under constant never ending scrutiny.
You think it will be a lot more then she already was?
Now there's an heir, it'll be much much much more intense than its been up to this point.

Over the leaks already? Or just want more album news?
Album news. Yeah the leaks aren't really relevant to me, since we don't know if they're anything to do with the album. Hence, I hope they don't hold off on album news just because of these leaks.
Im sure no one knows for sure, but i ask again what the point of not releasing the tracklist is? They haven't finalized it yet? They are planning some kinda game with the tracklist kinda like they did with the album art for backspacer ? Is there a reason that could be exciting? And could someone in the band have leaked those songs to try and help decide on the final tracklist?

Isn't it funny that in all the anti-monarchy campaigning and protest going on at the moment, no one is arguing the royal gynaecologist shouldn't be receiving his / her paypacket.

Not saying i think that happened, but to keep beating a dead horse, i don't understand why we don't have a tracklist for the new album

It's possible but not very plausible. But to find out that PJ have been trying to elicit help from fans to make their album would make me feel 1) awesome, because potentially I had a say about what songs are on there, and 2) like they've lost it and don't care anymore. It would be far better if they'd openly admit that they want our help on the album. People would get off on that. This band are far too covert about everything these days, and the product never lives up to their secrecy about it.

They can ask the "brains trust" over at the pit for help.

They seem to have a very family based approach at Pjs organisation. Everyone there is a lifer. So new ideas and approaches to marketing and promotion aren't really on the agenda.
But if they got new people in and tried different approaches again, it wouldn't really work would it?
If they were to try a radiohead approach of just dropping the record out of the blue or some other new fangled Internet release or campaign, they'd probably get a lot of shit for it. 'Trying to be relevant again', all that.
They have their ways and means. Leave them to it I guess.
It's not going to affect the quality of the music in any way so it's moot.
Would be nice if the band were a bit more prolific or less guarded about the songs they've cast off. A single or EP or two a year would do more for maintaining status than any amount of gimmicky promotion, like the game that came along for backspacer.

That said, if they stuck to what works and did a self pollution style Internet gig, that'd be awesome.
