I pull all the books forward so that the spines line up along the front edge of the bookshelves. It makes it better than when they are pushed back all jaggedly.

I went over to someone’s house a few weekends ago who had their books on the shelves organized by color. I hated it.

At any given time we have 3 kids here at the house. They have friends over and are going to friend's houses. My wife teaches an after school drama program, so there are parents and kids here for that often as well. All of this to say we have a lot of food storage containers coming and going, and whenever I look at our supply of food storage containers, I feel like we are getting the short end of the deal here. We currently have all the semi-disposable gladware you can get in the grocery store, and our good stuff is at who knows house. I may have to hide what good shit we have left from my wife and the kids so they don't give it away, and just keep the cheap shit in the cupboard for them. There's even a margarine container in there, wtf.
