They're a bit different musically, but they're a heavier rock band with a devoted cult following and a political, "all-for-one" aesthetic. I don't think it's all that arbitrary. Also pretty sure they were supposed to open for PJ until the pandemic wrecked that plan.

Kid A and Binaural were both spacey, atmospheric attempts at sonic reinvention by 90’s rock bands in the year 2000. But I still don’t think it’s reasonable or rational to use one to critique the other.

Its just two of my favorite bands that have just released new music. One is young and hungry, the other is Pearl jam that i have the deepest richest history with.

And Ament loves IDLES
