Gane v Volkov (Volkov is one my favorite fighters, really wish this PPV had a better main event because if it did, I would pay mostly just to see this fight.)
Nate Landwehr v anybody
And, honestly, I think every single fight on the prelims is exciting/interesting. Not a dud in the bunch. I'm probably most interested in Hooper v Guida and Brown v Battle.

I would love to be able to agree with you but I think he will peak as a gatekeeper. Those BJJ guys only seem to go so far these days. The game has changed.

Damn bro, you weren't kidding about this card being stacked below the main event. Unreal.

After these last few performances, I think he’s showing a lot more than just grappling. Good on the feet, always flowing everywhere. I see lots of potential but we’ll see.

I thought it would be a lot more competitive. Reyes beat his ass.

He definitely shouldn’t have been in there in his mental state. He was fighting like he was in a scene from Raging Bull. Just standing and eating punches with no defense.

So Shav was fighting injured. I still think Belal (unfortunately) ragdolls his ass, even when fit.

One of the coolest dudes to ever do it, honestly. Great retirement fight.

And he fights so infrequently that he's been washed for a good while. That was always going to be a mismatch.

My oldest son is obsessed. We went to Kansas City this weekend for fight night. What an incredibly well-run event! Too bad the target audience is primarily similar to a Trump rally. Nevertheless, we had a great time. Hearing a man get knocked out in-person hits way different than on tv. My wife commented at one point, “We have not evolved much since the days of the Colloseum.” She’s right.

I don't think Kai Kara-France can beat Alexandre Pantoja, though I'd love to see it. And I'm sure Royval is hoping KKF wins so that he can get another shot. I guess the UFC didn't want to give Royval a third shot at Pantoja, despite being the top-rated contender. A frustrating position to be in, I'm sure.

The crazy part is that MMA
has evolved a lot in the last ~30 years. In the early-to-mid 90s that shit was absolutely insane. One guy was submitted via groin strikes ffs!

I think the UFC is in a truly awful place right now. I can't remember the last time they actually made a fight I was really excited to see. They are just blowing opportunities at every turn right now. So many superfights falling by the wayside. Sucks.
In particular, I think the Islam/Topuria situation is a complete disaster. Islam v Topuria is the number one fight I want to see. But nope. Instead they are making two fights I don't give a shit about - and ones that could potentially destroy any future hope for the fight I want. Hate this organization.
