I’m fully good with putting both songs on the top shelf.

Not putting 7:00 near the top of Gigaton is crazy.

I mean, I guess it's not crazy if you acknowledge there are at least five amazing songs. In that case, you could place it "middle of the pack" and you're still correct in the way that matters most.

DOTC is the only song to reach the top tier pj list in the last 15 years.
Many other songs make other lists and bring me joy at different times for different reasons.
And - that's okay.

DOTC may be the best song since Binaural everything is kinda forgotten now Seven O'clock should have great but it just goes on forever less would have so much more. Who Ever is fine but Life wasted is Better. SuperBlood is underrated. Quick Escape Ed Worst moment of all time. No need to be a Bono Ed. Alright well alright. Some Stone song I don't remember about a sponge bath. Comes then goes is great but I will probably never listen to it again maybe it needed a hook.

If all of Seven O’clock was as good as its first 26 seconds it would be my favorite song on the album. As it is, it’s bottom half.

I still listen to the whole album whenever I put it on. I love its flow.

I still revisit take the long way, buckle up and surprisingly never destination.
quick escape, river cross, retrograde, comes the goes are in the "never listen again pile" with lightning bolt.
the rest of the songs i could enjoy if i could bring EV vocals down a few Db, and cut out 20% of lines. ( i could probably do this with DJ stem software) he doesn't sing to his strengths.. (DOTC and 7oclock).
i like when he sung through gritted teeth.

Before tonight I never noticed how Take the Long Way bleeds into Buckle Up.

same, the album as a whole is greater than the sum of its parts, which is Pearl Jam through and through for me

yeah, me too, specially if listen to it on vinyl, i finish it.
The flow is particulary good on this album and the production is top notch for me. Sounds very fucking good, specially after the LB debacle.

DOTC has more listens than every LB song except Sirens. That's cool.
