I dunno man i LOVE the vedderisms in this song. Definitely one of my favorite tracks on the album.

DOTC is the only song to reach the top tier pj list in the last 15 years.

Almost 4 years later and i can safely say its their best album track since Nothing As It Seems.

quick escape, river cross, retrograde, comes the goes are in the "never listen again pile" with lightning bolt.

I just don't understand how people can feel that way about Quick Escape especially. That song never fails to get me deep in my Pearl Jam fan feels.

QE has some strong elements, but taken as a whole, it’s not top tier on Gig.

DoTC is the crown jewel of the album.

WES is a much better example of a 5 minute triumph than QE could ever be.

I mean, I prefer Quick Escape to Who Ever Said, but I like both songs.

they are very different to me.

WES is more of a straight rocker but done well and in the vein of a classic pj tune from lets say, 1996 or 1998. QE is more of a monster, a stomper. It has this huge groove that reminds me of Zep for sure.
