I can see why it would be for some, but for me it was a big cathartic release of all the bad that had gone before. I mean, bad things have happened since but I'm learning to put them into perspective, and I couldn't have done that in my twenties.

Mentally 30 is a tough age to turn. But...and of course this is relative...but my thirties have been the best of my life. Not the same carefree life I had in my twenties, but waaaaaay more fulfilling! So lap it up!

Apparently 40's aren't so bad either. Guess I will find out!

Happy Birthday dude! I turned 30 earlier this year too. It sucked at the time, but surprisingly it got better quickly when I stopped thinking about it. The fear goes away....

What voodoo is this? 10 days till its released somewhere and still no leak? Dammit pearl jam.

Yeah I find this quite perplexing. I'm disappointed with the internet.

It'll be great. I generally do not like birthdays and with 30, I feel like I'm only halfway to where I wanted to be at this point.
