listening to The End this AM (another song I like that I mostly experience on full album listens) I was really struck by the

People change
As does everything
I just want to grow old

section in a way I never quite noticed before. pretty powerful little moment that doesnt draw a ton of attention to itself

I think FD its the worst song in their catalogue, and it could have been better with a production like Comes Then Goes maybe. I did like that solo version Ed did for the Last Of Us webcast thing.

Its still a song that rings solo album to me.

It's the second "I just want to grow old" that does it for me.

I really liked the shows on the Backspacer tour where they would do "The End" and "Just Breathe" (and occasionally "Lukin") with the string quartet. Can't believe that was 15 years ago.

This made me go back and watch the MSG performance of The End and Lukin from 2010. Special stuff.

MSG 2010 still stands as my favorite show I have attended from any band.

Yes. I didn’t even recognize the song until the chorus I never realized really existed.

I was there that night, too. Great performance. I think I got there before the chorus but I definitely needed the lyrics

The end is probably the most beautiful song he’s ever written. Everything about it is from somewhere else. Somewhere above. But written from the below.

Eddie looks so young here. That BRY that follows is pretty great too.

When playing Retrograde on Spotify the video is kind of funny. Just an endless loop of Pearl Jam walking towards you. Matt looking creepy, Mike looking lost and Stone looking like he doesn't have a care in the world.
