She or someone on her team leaked it, and the fact that it was a dumb idea to leak it doesn't change that. It's not the first time she's done something stupid this campaign thinking it was a good idea, and this is straight out of the woke playbook (which is a really bad playbook). They can't help themselves.

The little stunt after the debate just confirms the game she's playing.

Bloomberg has dispatched top aides to appeal to the DNC for a change in the rules that would allow him to participate, three sources familiar with the effort said. It’s unclear whether that would happen anytime soon. But the sources were confident the DNC will ultimately agree, so much so that Bloomberg has been participating in debate prep at his midtown Manhattan headquarters.
buckle up

I do appreciate that he isn't playing the game like everyone says he "should". So at least he's not a mindless sheep. Of course, it's easy to do whatever you want when you have unlimited money.

i like how the article mentions that career political campaign people are getting paid big money to work for him (and they are happy) and it is making his competitors’ career political campaign people unhappy bc he has better / more experience staff

Rep. John Delaney of Maryland to run for president

Rep. John Delaney of Maryland says he's running for president, instead of governor or reelection, in 2018.

Delaney, a Democrat, announced his plans in a statement Friday.

The politically moderate banking entrepreneur is in his third term in Maryland's 6th Congressional District, which includes western Maryland and a large section of Montgomery County, the state's largest county.

The 54-year-old is worth roughly $90 million and is one of the House's wealthiest members. He spent about $2 million to help finance his first House race in 2012.

His consideration of a possible Maryland gubernatorial bid months ago quickly drew interest in his House seat. Several candidates already have expressed interest in running for the seat.

DNC just changed their rules on debates, setting Bloomy up for a Feb 19 appearance.

Now the real dance begins
The Democratic National Committee is drastically revising its criteria to participate in primary debates after New Hampshire, doubling the polling threshold and eliminating the individual donor requirement, which could pave the way for former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg to make the stage beginning in mid-February.

Candidates will need to earn at least 10 percent in four polls released from Jan. 15 to Feb. 18, or 12 percent in two polls conducted in Nevada or South Carolina, in order to participate in the Feb. 19 debate in Las Vegas. Any candidate who earns at least one delegate to the national convention in either the Iowa caucuses or New Hampshire primary will also qualify for the Nevada debate.
