I decided to boot up Tears of the Kingdom to finally beat it. Low and behold, I discovered a set of sky islands I never explored. Found the missing four shrines!

Based on a retailer listing, releasing on December 1. I liked the October 23 and November 13 rumored dates better.

That could just be a placeholder too. Games aren't typically released on Tuesdays anymore. I think it it would be a mistake to release it after Black Friday, but what do I know?!

The Korean rating board has given the remake a Teen rating instead of the Everyone rating they gave to the original OoT. Maybe there's more changes than initially thought.

Rumored announcement for next week. Nintendo's never simultaneously released a special edition console, joy cons and a pro controller. I hope the Collector's Edition rumor is true.

I don't think I have an issue with it being a 1 to 1 remake. The game is pretty timeless. The open areas look pretty "Ocarina in Unreal 5" to me, but the art direction and enemy design look fun.

I'm sure there will be some surprises/new stuff in there, but I'm excited for the nostalgia of it all.

The camera control, jump button, and full explorable 3d areas are enough for me.
