What happens to all that money if he drops out? Who gets it?

They can use it for future runs, or donate it to charities or other parties/candidates.

Could he use it for his next senate run? What do candidates typically do with it?

Couldn't say for sure, but I don't think that would be kosher. Donations given for a particular candidacy couldn't then be allocated towards running for another position, right? Just sounds amoral.

I like how when she was asked "what if you get indicted?" she just yelled "that's not going to happen" and waited for the crowd to cheer. Holy fuck.

Students also told me that they asked Bernie how his brand of socialism is different than Castro's. If true that's also an absurd question. Neither of those questions should be dignified with a response.

why are either of those absurd questions?

Bernie has answered that question and done a good job of it on NPR several times.

Hillary and the Clinton's in general have spent quite a bit of time in the last two decades embroiled in some kind of legal struggle. She very well could be indicted... If anything you need to ask that question as a moderator. She shouted it down because it's bad PR for her, but the Clinton's do that with all the bad PR that they generate for themselves.

If a debate is going to be anything more than a commercial for a candidate, they should be asked to answer difficult questions, especially for the job for which they are applying

Personally I find it absurd that a canidate for president lives her life in such a way that she could possibly be indicted. She's a female, democrat party version of Richard Nixon.

I'm all for tough questions. "What if you're indicted?" is in my opinion not a tough question, but a loaded question. Her only possible response is that that isn't going to happen. She can't even entertain the possibility of it. So ask her if somebody who has the specter of criminal indictment hanging over them should be running for president. Or ask about the cloud of suspicion and distrust that surrounds her. Or ask about her role in these scandalous things. She wouldn't answer any of them directly because that's what politicians do, but the question would be more fair.

Bernie's gonna have some difficult decisions this week. Delegate-wise it's probably smarter not to give up on Florida, but perception-wise he'd do better to just focus on the midwest. Get decent size wins in Ohio (polling shows Clinton still has a big lead there, but...) and Missouri and make things close in Illinois.

I'm a little surprised to see Bernie spending so much time in Florida this week. Limiting his loss there is smart, but a victory in Ohio would be huge. He should be in the Midwest right now.

What else? Plenty, surely. The Clinton Foundation existed in recent years to serve as an unofficial PAC for Mrs. Clinton’s expected presidential run. And Mrs. Clinton’s job at State was designed to serve the same end. Of course the business of the two was intertwined. And here’s to betting the server was maintained to facilitate that intertwinement.
