They are constantly watching their backs. Probably nervous about being in public. Nervous about watching tv at night. Always having issues.


I can't imagine having any time to feel relaxed and safe.

Plus do any of these bodyguards get time off? It seems like day or night they are at the ready. I hope they get OT.

yeah, i loved everything about that episode...Gus being confident after his victory, Mike going to Nacho´s dad...and damn that scene was brilliant and heart breaking.

I also believe its been more than a year yeah.

The date on his license plate said it expired in 2005. So the end was either in ‘04 or ‘05 before it expires.

Another question: What’re everyone feelings with the music this season? Seems like they’ve been much bolder in their choices. Everything sounds like Midnight Express to me, and I love it; my wife thinks it sounds kind of low-rent (“like video game music.”).

They had Dave Porter on one of the recent Insider podcasts and they talked about him playing with some new things this season. Definitely some broadening and I think it’s been very solid. Not as many highs as the BB era but still good.

Also, there are no outstanding plot lines related to Gus and the Salamancas, right? We basically have no reason to spend more time with them between now and the BB era, right? I’d assume the last four eps will be 1-2 eps in the BB timeline, and then 2-3 in Nebraska.

I think the only Gus related thing would be finishing the lab, which could be accomplished by a top-down montage

That village isn’t in Breaking Bad, but the doctor is. That’s about the only connection to the village in BB
