Then compete.
Agree with all of this. Rumors are that Ross won't fire Grier, he'll move him to a different job within the organization. So, I doubt that step 1 (which is the single most important step) will happen during the season. Hopefully there will be somebody else put in charge of conducting an in-season fire sale unlike the NFL has ever seen before.

Yeah. Oh, and get rid of that mumbling dweeb of a head coach when you want to start winning. He has some good ideas, but he is no leader of men like the kind that play professional football well.

Next time you do something dumb, just remember that a few hours before Week 1 games kicked off I signed up for Sunday Ticket so I could pay to watch these Miami Dolphins.

I can't believe there's really Dolphins fans who would be upset if they traded Waddle. Idk if the Giants meltdown made it more or less likely that they'd overpay for Waddle but here we are.

When was the last time Waddle has even been able to do "the waddle"? Dude hasn't made a play worthy of it in over a year it seems. Every time he does make a catch he nearly drops it first.

Guys, what is even the point of being a fan of a sports team? Just support your team and be happy, win or lose. This is about your loyalty. It's not a science.Go fins!

They said they are keeping McDaniel until the end of the season. Probably because they are about to trade away a shit load of talent and want some kind of consistency the rest of the season?

Let's see who they hire and how they do before we celebrate.

Nah, we can celebrate that he's gone. I have no confidence things will get better but at least he's gone.

Sad to see Jaelen Phillips go, he'll be one of the great "what if" Dolphins players in recent memory. Injuries obviously. But even on the field it seemed like he was incredible at getting QB pressures but never quite good enough actually getting sacks. Idk if I've ever seen somebody consistently come closer to making great plays but just not quite get them.

But it was necessary, and I'm happy with the return. Just hope there's several more moves today. I continue to baffled by this idea that Waddle should be untouchable, are people watching the same guy I have?

Yeah.

Not sad about Phillips for the reasons you listed.

Waddle seems like he could be more productive with a better QB who can actually see him and then get the ball to him more often. Imagine Waddle with Josh Allen. Fuuuuuuck... He's a trade we'll end up regretting I bet. But I'll take a first rounder for the rebuild.

Tua is such an idiot. I saw red flags the second I saw how much of a man of "faith" he claimed to be. I assume the smarter QBs who claim to have "faith" do it for personal gain, but not him; he actually believes in a flying spaghetti monster in the sky with a divine plan.

If the next QB is a man of faith I'm out for the next 4 years.

I think Waddle is worse than people think he is. When he catches it's like his hands are fighting the ball. He's talented, no doubt, and he'll put up numbers. Like I wouldn't just give him away, he's not a bum, but I don't think he's a true #1 that you should be paying $30m a year for. And I think we've already seen what peak Waddle looks like in 2023, he can definitely continue to do that but I doubt he has another level in him.

I think the Giants would make sense, he could give Dart a good target this season and then be a very good 2nd option to Nabers in the future.
