Oh wow; I didn’t realize the new season started this past week. When I saw it on the dvr I just assumed it was a repeat

I was slightly underwhelmed by these performances. Love all three songs a lot; and I thought the shrinking bedroom set design was awesome. But overall it felt it a little low energy to me.
Wow, really? I thought it was electric. Made me really regret not seeing him this summer when I had the chance.

Listened to Lorne Part II this morning.
Chevy is coming. So we got him and Franken to look forward to. They asked Lorne if he and Billy Murray actually punched each other when Chevy came back to host. I love his non-answer.

Worst thing about the Lorne eps: no Lorne impersonations.

Chevy this week.
I’m not sure about this one. It’s all over the place. Chevy’s wife and kid are there with them, but they’re not mic’d and they spend about a third of the time talking with them. Meanwhile, Chevy is nonsensical a good part of the time with Carvey laughing his ass off constantly. Spade seems a bit put off almost the whole time but he does have 2 of the 3 best lines in the whole episode. Even with that, I don’t really know if I enjoyed it or not.
There’s a pretty big WTF moment by Chevy fairly early that even Carvey didn’t laugh at. They kinda tried to make up for it a bit later but I’m not sure they succeeded.

Maybe I just couldn’t get past the WTF moment. I dunno
Spade seemed bothered thru all of it too. Maybe he couldn’t get past it either.
