It's basically impossible now for me to keep Steph out of my all time Top 10 and take myself seriously. Sorry Zeke you're out.

I'm not sure what my exact Top 10 looks like. The argument in itself is filled with subjectivity, contradictions, and bias.

I do know that Duncan and Curry are higher on mine than other lists I've seen. Both are consummate professionals who consistently make their team better without the drama of other superstars. They can go out and completely dominate the game but also have no problem deferring to a teammate or specific scheme. Both can fill the box score, but also have a significant impact well beyond traditional counting stats (Curry's off ball movement opening space, Duncan's defensive/boxing out).

Curry is certainly more a showman/entertainer, but both are low key killers. They showed up and showed out on the biggest stages and for the biggest games.

I have Duncan and Curry ahead of Kobe, but your list looks about right. No Russell or Wilt? Too top-heavy of an era?

Could probably swap out Dr J or Dream for Wilt there.

I should have prefaced with Modern Era Top 10. Its a cheat but the 60's and 70's guys are impossible to judge cause I didn't watch them play I've only seen highlights and the occasional NBA Classics games. I'm comfortable saying the guys in my 10 could dominate in any era. I don't know about the previous decades and I don't want to be disrespectful or dismissive like JJ Reddick lol.

I think Dr J is criminally underrated. I went with Dream over Shaq/Wilt/Russell but I wouldn't really argue anyone who went with the others. There is a school of thought that Russell and Wilt made their bones against a number of undersized centers I don't know what to do with that.

I like your list and although I don't think he belongs in the top 10, I love me some Allen Iverson.

Steph has to be top 10 at this point. He's 35 and still doing this stuff. Looney won them that game, though. Too bad the Kings couldn't rebound at all. Oh well.
