Feels like whoever wins the West is winning the title this year. Even though the East seemed like it was better all year.

Lakers and Suns will probably switch spots after tonight.

The warning signs were all there for Boston. Its two best players talk more about individual honors and perceived slights vs. anything else. You lose an authoritative coach and that doesn't help matters. Should be interesting to see if the C's finally buck up. They play better w/ backs against the wall.

I think they'll be fine and eventually come out of the East, though it seems like it won't be as easy as it should be. Everything really lined up for them and they haven't taken advantage of that yet.

I just don't trust them against whichever of Steph or Jokic or LeBron/AD or KD/Booker manages to come out of the West.

There was an IG pic yesterday of him walking in the city, nothing on the ankle. He's questionable tonight but I got a notification a little bit ago saying he's going to try to play tonight and that it might not have been as bad as initially feared.

I have a feeling the "game every other day" format will knock at least 1-2 majors stars out of the round, but I hope not.

Well, the Heat/Knicks have off until Saturday after tonight so that break should help. There's been debate about whether Miami should just punt on tonight and send Jimmy back to rest and have almost a week to get right. Guess they're not doing that.

I agree, they haven't earned anyone's trust yet to beat A+ talent like that.

I'm leaning towards Warriors in 6, but I think the Lakers/Warriors matchup will be the most evenly matched series of this round.

Jimmy's out. Oh well.

I think Warriors in 6. Split the first two with blowout wins for each team. Then close games the rest of the way.

But obviously go LeBron. Hoping he was pacing himself round 1 and he has another gear he can consistently get to this series.

glad to see the Knicks get one but Miami def looks like a more professional team

AD was dominant. im not sure poole is the guy you want taking a rushed 28 footer

draymond will get ejected a 1 game suspension before this series is over

Hate to whine about refs but man down the stretch there were some brutal calls against the Heat. Felt like that should have been a great win without Jimmy. So it goes.

That Lakers/Warriors game was nuts. Based on that one game sample size seems like what the Lakers did well is more repeatable than what the Warriors did well but my God man Steph Curry is something else. Just can't give him an inch.

Warriors always seem to struggle in Game 1s. It's like they treat it as the "control" for experiments later in the series.

looking forward to watching that series more but man 10:15pm tipoff time is just brutal for me at this point
