What about the White House staff that cater to his needs? The Secret Service agents? Not everyone in that building is a dick. William Barr can talk to him on the phone, but the poor wait staff have to come into his room.

Stop trying to talk yourselves into him dying. He's not going to die, at least not from this. I'm not sure why people would want him to die anyway. He'd get turned into some sort of Jesus figure by his followers.

The secret service doesn't get to nope out of their job because of this but it's selfish as fuck for trump to be doing anything that would require them to spend unnecessary time around him.

The most satisfying way that a Trump presidency could end would be for a defeat in November in no uncertain terms. Landslide in the electoral, a mandate, anything and everything that proves that the American people rejected him and his failures. Death would not only deprive the country of that unifying, healing moment, but would turn the MAGA cult into a bonafide religion.

I hear you, and I get it. I've empathy for those staffers who are there because they want to work in the WH and for a potus. The ones who've been willfully negligent about covid can fuck off.

Also, verb is correct, he won't die. He's going to get the best medical care possible, and brag about it, while thousands more - who've little-to-no access to good health care - will keep dying.

In any normal reality, he just went too far. But this is 2020 so we’ll see what happens.

And a lot of us aren’t afraid of covid. We’ve accepted it as part of our daily lives, and take simple precautions to keep ourselves or others from getting sick.
