Everyone is saying that Jeff is the MVP from the record, but i actuallt think Stone is. His playing is very loose in this one, specially in songs like Sirens or My Father´s Son.

The real MVP is right there in the mirror.

Stone does some great stuff, but he really should've done more work on LTRP.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:jeff slightly more though because IMO he brought the best songs in, though stone got writing credit on some of them as well, so yeah, Co MVPsbluestate wrote:Lightning Bolt MVP: Ament/GossardVinylGuy wrote:Everyone is saying that Jeff is the MVP from the record, but i actuallt think Stone is. Didn't Stone say in the vignette, "it'll probably be on the next record"?

They always say two of them other than the writer has to vote a song 'in' I wonder who really pushed for ltrp, they haven't really talked about the song much.

I meant they didn't really talk about it interviews. Not that they talked about all of them or anything but would've been cool to hear about the lyrics or something.stip wrote:it's been in 3 vignettes, thoughstupidmop wrote:They always say two of them other than the writer has to vote a song 'in' I wonder who really pushed for ltrp, they haven't really talked about the song much.
Also I'm going to blindly cling to "it'll probably be on the next record" as proof they're already thinking about the next album and therefore its coming sooner rather than later.
This wont end badly at all.

As an "over-and-above" on the NLC theme I have skipped that vignette until I actually get the record. I don't want to see the big artwork until I have it in my hands.bluestate wrote:The vinyl printing pressDr. Van Nostrand wrote:i know the most recent one with stone, and the one with Ed throwing Axes, what was the 3rd?stip wrote:it's been in 3 vignettes, thoughstupidmop wrote:They always say two of them other than the writer has to vote a song 'in' I wonder who really pushed for ltrp, they haven't really talked about the song much.
