Anyway, anyone know what that was for? Just one of his shows, or a benefit?

I heard Frampton interviewed somewhat recently on Stern, and he loved Chris Cornell and his talent. He said something along the lines of Black Hole Sun being the best song ever.

Frampton had an instrumental album out a few years back that had guest musicians on it. Black Hole Sun with Mike and Matt was on it. They also did a tune called Blowin' Smoke on it. The name of the album is Fingerprints.

In all honesty, if he is touring anywhere near you, 100% worth it to see him. I've seen him twice now, once before Ed Ved solo and once on his own tour with band, and both times he just blew me away. Such a fantastic performer, so much passion about what he does. You will not regret seeing him.

Funny though, as far as studio goes though I generally am pretty "meh" about his output.
