I guess I'm excited now. I didn't think I would be. Damn, this band have a hold on me which is impossible to deny.

Are we defintely sure that isn't a PJ song we know already? I'm with you Harmless, really excited for it but trying to temper that and my expectations.

That clip is like something out of The Killing. Maybe that's the start of the viral campaign.

You are not alone.....we're a negative bunch here so sometimes I have to step away for awhile and pop in Vitalogy or No Code and then realize that Pearl Jam really is a great band. I just feel happy that we will get at least one more record of new music.

This was actually my first thought. A new approach to marketing from PJ. But they're old school and don't really play that way, do they?

Me too. Pj music gives me wings like no other. I've put away wants/demands. Just hope that I like/love it. And even if I/we all don't, it's another step for them. Always hoped they'd have a long fruitful career. Don't care if I don't like some of it, but its never been boring, so far. I actively dislike S/T but at least it curmudgeoned me into some sort of feeling.

If I was indifferent to a PJ release, that's when is worry.

Says more about the likes of you and I Harmless, that we find our spirits lifted by the hope and promise of new music. Pj are about to get fuckin awesome again I think.

I'm positive because at least PJ is still together and making new music.

After seeing R.E.M., one of my all-time favorite bands, retire, it made me appreciate Pearl Jam more - the fact that they are still going, but that at some point they will retire, too............
