I think my favorite part of RDR2 is it doesn't insult its audience, in a way I haven't seen before in a video game. It rewards patience and the desire to explore EVERYTHING. I can see how it bores some people... but those people deserve it.

Alt take: No one deserves to have to shop at a general store the way this game makes you do it.
I'm against this in theory, the way you put it... but it works in this game. The attention to details is everywhere which makes even tedious tasks immersive experiences.

Also, you can just use the catalog for a quicker shopping experience.

If you need supplies or want new clothes. I've only had to do this once, to buy oil to clean my weapons, in like 8 hrs of play time. It took like 3 minutes.

The game is slow and purposeful. It is also not for everyone, especially those looking for Cowboy GTA.

No... it's for everyone. If you're not the kind of gamer this game needs you to be, it will teach you and you will be thankful.

I just don't understand how anyone could possibly not enjoy this game. There's something for everyone.

People like to shit on games they haven't played. It's an integral part of discussing games on the internet.

This isn't subjective like a work of abstract art. If you like video games you should at least appreciate, if not enjoy the hell out of, almost everything about this game.

Well you said everyone would enjoy it. I can appreciate it without enjoying it though. And I'm pretty sure it is subjective. I'm pretty sure tree from the internet isn't the end all be all of video game opinions.

No it’s not. It’s an objectively incorrect assertion.
