I think it will be a solid 8.5/10. Great time of year to release it too.CopperTom wrote:Days Gone could be good.

Last of Us 2 is not coming out this year (a prediction, but a safe one).CopperTom wrote:tLoU2 should be goty caliber. Borderlands 3 too.
If they delay tLoU2, will they still release it for PS4? PS5 is launching fall of 2020, right?Monkey_Driven wrote:Last of Us 2 is not coming out this year (a prediction, but a safe one).CopperTom wrote:tLoU2 should be goty caliber. Borderlands 3 too.
I've never been into the Borderlands series. First person shooters in general don't typically crack my lists.
My guess is an April 2020 PS4 release date. Then a late 2020/early 2021 PS5 "deluxe version". Very similar to the original game.CopperTom wrote:If they delay tLoU2, will they still release it for PS4? Lots of 3rd party stuff too. Makes sense they are gearing up for next gen though. It wouldn't surprise me if one of them releases their new box in early 2020.CopperTom wrote:It's going to be a very lean 18 month stretch for Sony and Microsoft. Gears 5, tLoU2 and not much else. It's strange that these companies aren't supporting their current generation more.
Because you will make a lot of people who own PS4s mad. You almost have to release them for both consoles. Pull a Breath of the Wild or Dragon Age: Origins.Revelator wrote:I for one would love to see them release the PS5 in early 2020 as opposed to releasing in the fall (which I understand the fall makes better business sense). Totally agree that it's looking more and more like tLoU2 won't be out this CY (same for Ghost of Tsushima) so my take is it's better to just wait and release both as opening day PS5 launch titles/exclusives.
If I recall correctly, the PS4 (and PS3) had over a year's worth of shitty launch titles as the developers grew accustom to the new platform. Why not release two games (that for all intents and purposes will be well received based upon very early but excellent footage) on the PS5, even if they were developed on the PS4 baseline...

Anybody?CopperTom wrote:I see there is a Fire Emblem coming out for Switch. I'm interested, but have never played any game in the series. Can anyone recommend?

I'm loving Valkyria Chronicles 4 and I think they are kinda sorta similar.Monkey_Driven wrote:I've never played a Fire Emblem game...CopperTom wrote:Anybody?CopperTom wrote:I see there is a Fire Emblem coming out for Switch.
