Well, it all ended as it should given the name of the show is Cobra Kai. Next up, Karate Kid: Legacy. I wonder if Johnny or his dojo will be in it b

Watched the first 2 of this last batch. First wasn’t great, but the second was everything I want from the show. I hope we finish tomorrow, and I hope I enjoy the ending. I haven’t loved the last season, but everything up to it was great.

Best part was one of the Larusso women was prominent in episode 2, and my oldest said she looked like Syd from Ice Age and we all laughed hard and long.

1 episode to go. Holy shit, they’ve dialed up the need to suspend disbelief. They’ve also got a lot of Hallmark moments. I’m guessing I’ll love the last episode.

Ps. My oldest referred to Sam Larusso as Ham Larusso and I am ashamed to say I laughed.

Enjoyed the finale. I wish I cared as much about the kids as the writers did, but they did right by Johnny and Danny. Chozen peaked when he was drunk in Barcelona.
Spoiler: show
The boat explosion was so fucking ridiculous, but upon reflection, it was the most 80s ending for bad guys ever, and I loved it for leaning into that.
You have to suspend disbelief more than any other show on tv, and I’m cool with that, but the two things I had the most trouble with this season were
Spoiler: show
1) flying back and forth from LA to Barcelona in record time with zero jet lag and 2) how the tournament in the valley was one six minute fight per day. I mean, fuck off.

I did not. He waited for the enemy to come to him, and then he swept the leg. You got a problem with that?

I’ve never watched this show but listened to a 5-hour watch-along podcast for the last 5 episodes. Absolutely deranged.

I was just smiling like an idiot. The Karate Kid is one of my 20 favorite movies of all time. This show has been a real treat for someone like me.

Not sure I've ever had as much fun watching a show. It's so believably corny but well written and totally committed to it.

Johnny's redemption ....I was just hooting and hollering. It was a believable win !
