I can see the argument for that being intentional and part of the overbearing point. But it was poorly done. I think it was just move the story along rather than any intention

I was always a bit confused by what happens in the original matrix when regular people get hijacked by agents or whatever. What happens to the people?

That's what I thought but it seemed convenient that all the people on the train were bots. Maybe all Japanese people are bots.

It is kinda funny that the bots are added to fix the problem of the heroes in the earlier movies murdering the fuck out of thousands of innocent people with a clear conscience.

nothing happens with the kid. Trinity punches the Analyst in the final scene in the apartment beacuse "that's for using kids". But nothing happens in the moment, when Tiffany becomes Trinity and the husband turns against her. The kids are just ignored. It isn't even made clear if the kids are bots or real people. A cowardly movie would have made them bots that she then smashes. And from the kids' point of view (assuming they're kids) wouldn't that be some necessary shit to cover? It seems like it's pretty fucking necessary to me! Yet they are comically disappeared from the movie instantly.

I assume they were bots, and that the studio was like "ok no, Wachowski, you can't have Trinity karate chop the children in half, you sociopath!" So they just cut them from the movie. That was funny.
