Most of these are first impression rankings. I did like it but it didn't blow me away on first listen.

It's so damn good. With ya on the ambient pieces right now, but man when the songs on this album hit, they hit. The heavy My Bloody Valentine vibe of Describe and Wonder-ish keyboard-bass groove of On the Floor absolutely slap.

It's so damn good. With ya on the ambient pieces right now, but man when the songs on this album hit, they hit. The heavy My Bloody Valentine vibe of Describe and Wonder-ish keyboard-bass groove of On the Floor absolutely slap.

Yeah the singles are great. "Describe" wow, fuzzy guitars and shoegaze influence fit Perfume Genius too good.

Did not think someone could compete with Fiona for the number one spot but Perfume Genius has a good shot. This is one of the prettiest and most haunting albums I've ever heard. This one might even be better than Put Your Back n 2 It, which is one of my favorite albums of all time.
