Its crazy to me that this hasn't spread everywhere already. Or maybe it has and we don't know it yet.

They don't have nearly enough tests, so I think it's EVERYWHERE.
That along with them have no idea how long it incubates. First it was up to 2 weeks, then it was up to 24 days, and now 40+. That just means they really don't know.
Also, the number infected in China at the beginning of January was only 40 or so. We're lagging a solid 4 weeks behind them.

How can they diagnose 14k new cases in a day?

The numbers are just so hard to trust but also this thing is incredibly contagious.

You can only be diagnosed if you’re tested. An 80 yo showing up at the hospital is t going to get tested necessarily.

My guess is there was a new batch of test kits delivered.

They were forced to count those that died by from being infected with pneumonia. They haven't had enough test kits so not counting people they knew were sick but couldn't test was a way to artificially keep the numbers lower.

They are still manipulating them to be lower by not counting people who test positive that have no symptoms.

This too, but also it's been learned the test kits are not accurate. That's why they let the first case from San Diego go. They brought them back into observation/quarantine when they realized the test was wrong.

It's hard to know what is authentic or not, but the videos coming out of China are pretty crazy. For all I know they are rounding up dissidents, but it seems like a lot of people are resisting pretty hard.

It's infuriating not really knowing what's true. This is either a massive cover up or the most propaganda/misinformation I've ever witnessed live.

What is maybe re-assuring is that earlier today there was a report that Shanggai was being put on lock down. Within about 45 minutes that was confirmed fake. I'm hoping (and dreading) that means all of the videos we've seen are real. Otherwise, I would hope there would be similar reports of them being fake.

The flip side is, we'll find out if Shanghai really is on lock down and if the reports of it being fake was an attempt to silence the release of that info.

everyone with a brain that has followed china for any reasonable period knows it

yet the agenda-setting media just reports it without caveat

It is worrisome that China has still not let the CDC come over to help/investigate.
