That video explains pretty well why I think they're doing GA. It's probably wasn't that one single incident but probably been building up for a long time. I think the Philly Spectrum stretch took everything out of them as far as rarities and stuff and trying their best to please the hardcores and now they're seeing appreciative audiences from festivals that are not jaded old time fans and want to get a little piece of that ass ........

The GA is being added because most of the lower number members no longer fit into the seats (myself excluded). Don't get much exercise in your mom's basement.

look, pearl jam fans can be old wealthy yuppies who can buy 40 dollar dog colllars, or they can be internet weirdos living in their parent's basement. But we really should commit to a stereotype here.

They want a GA section in the US because of their experiences in South America.

Honestly,for me GA sucks. If my choice for reserved is behind the pit by the sound board,it is kind of unfair. I understand why they are doing it,but if I at least got some of the best seats on the sides I could be happy. Going for reserved with the possibility that I will be on the back of the floor makes it difficult

We won't know until after this tour how the seats were allocated. Kinda shitty if people got bumped from 10th row to behind the sound board to make room for GA.

I'm thinking horse head mask with a leash sign might get a good reaction

maybe somebody should start a thread on that forum to please prioritize on the wings first and then the back of the floor, or even the 200 section. That is the worst view in the house. I would think they would understand that and it seems everybody is in agreeance.

i almost feel i need to do GA just so i don't get tstuck back there with my #.

Me too. The risk of getting back of floor is scaring me off.

Really? I am not one of those arms crossed slugs that goes to every show. I go to a couple a tour. Why should I sit at the back of the floor, while people who just joined gets wings closer to the stage? Sorry, I never disagreed with lottery rows, even though that bumped me a "bit". This bumps me way more than a bit.

If the reserved seated fan club tickets end up way back on the floor instead good seats on the side then we may just go with general sale tickets on the next tour. But for some reason this year im feeling like i will be pretty happy just being somewhere in the building, its nice being close, but im just wanting to hear it this year
