Roman still has the best zingers. Hilarious!
Not sure about the redemption arc for these characters. I hope it doesn’t happen.
Plane crash and they all die or they all go broke and have to live in an apartment together (season 5).

succession's creator & head writer references the eighteenth brumaire of louis bonaparte in media interviews. if succession becomes interested in giving one of its characters a redemptive arc, i'll give everyone on the board a dollar. jeremy strong might be thinking in those terms, but then, he's cracked

season premiere suggests that this show's best days are far behind where we are. still hope it improves.

This is just brutal at this point. It's almost unfair. This show has always been right out on-the-sleeves but this is just painful. And not an acute pain like the end of last season. It's a simmering, to-the-bone-and-in-the-stomach sad pain.

Oh, the anguish that doth plague my very being! This unforgiving torment, now laid bare upon the stage; in this tale of wretched sorrow, once candid in its telling, the burden of despair weighs heavy upon our hearts. A merciless fate, so harsh and cruel, it feels unjust. A show that once conveyed the human spirit in its rawest form, now finds itself consumed by a heartache most unbearable, a suffering that surpasses the boundaries of endurance. No longer the piercing sting, as felt in seasons past, this agony, it lingers, seeping deep into our very essence. A gut-wrenching sorrow, a melancholy that roots itself within, leaving naught but the ghost of joy, forever lost to time. With furrowed brow and trembling lip, we witness the unfolding tragedy. The players, their hearts exposed, now bear the weight of this oppressive gloom. For in this theater of life, we are but helpless spectators bound to the merciless tides of fate, our hearts forever bound to their suffering.

I heard yesterday that screeners didn’t go out to critics this week. That should’ve been a clue.
