I disagree a little bit, the Broncos had firm control of this game throughout. That doesn't necessarily require putting up a bunch of points, especially when it comes against someone like Belichick on the opposing sideline.MitchCumstein wrote:Well done Broncos. I'd still like to see us bury a team though. That seemed closer than it should have been. Anyway, back in the Super Bowl! This makes the wife doubly happy. I promised her I wouldn't try the pot store until the Broncos season is over.
I'll agree, I was never really 'edge of my seat' nervous. But any game where an on side kick is involved seems too close to me. Yet, as you said, this was against Belichik and Brady so I won't complain.Green Habit wrote:I disagree a little bit, the Broncos had firm control of this game throughout. As far as pot goes, if the Seahawks win in a few hours I say all bets are off, as it would be the Cannabis Bowl!
Sounds great to me.MitchCumstein wrote:I actually brought up the SEA/DEN SB matchup possibility to someone last night, but referred to it as the Canni-Bowl. Sounded right in my head. Not so much when I pronounced it.

I'm hoping that he mimics the end of his boss's career. Heartbreaking one and done loss followed by two SB victories.EJ wrote:Win or lose, will the SB be Peyton's last game? I think it will be.
I'm with you, hope he does too. And I happen to like Sea/SF better.Green Habit wrote:I'm hoping that he mimics the end of his boss's career. Heartbreaking one and done loss followed by two SB victories.EJ wrote:Win or lose, will the SB be Peyton's last game? I think it will be.
Whispers around here indicate he's back win or lose. Cannabis Bowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!Green Habit wrote:I'm hoping that he mimics the end of his boss's career. Heartbreaking one and done loss followed by two SB victories.EJ wrote:Win or lose, will the SB be Peyton's last game? I think it will be.
I was about to have a similar reaction to your post, but then I did a count and until yesterday 17 teams had been to the Super Bowl more recently.mray10 wrote:The wife, last night: We should totally have a Super Bowl party! I mean, when do the Broncos go to the Super Bowl? Like, never.
Me: No, they ... (sad realization) ... Yeah. It has been a while.
