This time last year I dove head first into the Frames and ended up not listening to anything else the rest of the year. Fucking love it. Find me a better song than Rise. You can't.
I've honestly only heard The Stars Are Underground, I'll listen to Rise next :)

Listen to “setlist” their live album.

The frames are special. Two of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Hands down.

I've been aware of Urge Overkill for years but had never heard a song of theirs until last week. Downloaded a few records, and they are pretty good

Boy, was this a bad call. Or at least an incomplete one. I disliked the Gabriel/prog stuff so much, I didn’t even make it to the Collins/pop stuff. Maybe one day, but not any time soon.

This is gonna happen. I just have to get everything loaded onto my phone.

Do we have an AC/DC thread? I tried a search but the site didn’t like it and wouldn’t do the search. I know there’s been a thread where we talked about a few of their tunes, but I’m damned if I can remember which one that was.

I'm curious about some of their later stuff, but I've been saying that ever since hearing "Living On a Thin Line" on The Sopranos.

I went with my dad and his friend (I can't remember how young I was) to see them on their "Phobia" tour I think it was? I remember liking it at the time, I should refresh my memory

Did you check their latest? I haven't listened yet, but people seem pretty ho-hum about it.

In terms of style or quality? They go so long between releases that they're kind of hard to pin down. 2018's Little Dark Age was really good!

yes, I'm really enjoying it; "People in the Streets" is an early favourite, it's very pretty
