I'm new to the forum and noticed this thread talking about real estate. I recently moved to Singapore and bought an amazing property in thereserveresidences-jalananakbukit.sg. It was a smooth and easy process, so if anyone's looking to buy something but is concerned about the market conditions, I recommend checking it out. I hear Doug and Bammer talking about their buying/selling experiences, and it's crazy to me how long it takes them to make an offer or how much research Bammer does on the market. I guess it can be a long process, but there are ways to make it easier and faster. Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say hi.

Pretty sure the market has bottomed out and is on the way back up now. That only lasted about 8 months. Then again it is March when the market starts picking back up again anyway.

'Course if all the computer programmers can't get their money out of the bank it could keep prices at bay for a while.

There is a baboon in me . . . clambering-clawed . . . dog-faced . . . yawping a galoot's hunger . . . hairy under the armpits . . . here are the hawk-eyed hankering men . . . here are the blonde and blue-eyed women . . . here they hide curled asleep waiting . . . ready to snarl and kill . . . ready to sing and give milk . . . waiting—I keep the baboon because the wilderness says so.

There is an eagle in me and a mockingbird . . . and the eagle flies among the Rocky Mountains of my dreams and fights among the Sierra crags of what I want . . . and the mockingbird warbles in the early forenoon before the dew is gone, warbles in the underbrush of my Chattanoogas of hope, gushes over the blue Ozark foothills of my wishes—And I got the eagle and the mockingbird from the wilderness.
