Chiming in from the Southern hemisphere (another reason not to move too quickly) to echo what others have already said: the Imagine Dragons song is awful, the Eilish song is great.

Again I end up the contrarian

Surprised some people here sound like they are just discovering Billie. She’s been popular for like 3 years.

I get it. It doesn’t make sense how good she is.

To be fair, her brother Finneas is a pretty amazing musician and songwriter.

No diss to Billie Eilish here because she's very talented and everyone i respect loves the hell out of her.

She just hasn't clicked for me.

I think Sharon Van Etten is reasonably similar but way more my style.

Charlie Puth track had a bit of a tune. Th production was pretty awful.

BTS track again had a hook and I can see the MJ trow back. Seems that a track like that would benefit from some character. As much as I don't really care for Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake, they both ooze charisma which this here track does not.

Imagine Dragons - I just imagine getting those 3 minutes back. Awful.

I’m sure this probably happens in other contexts too, like parents who are really into NASCAR selectively and disproportionately rewarding any hint of interest displayed by their child regarding NASCAR or car racing etc.

(NASCAR has something to do with car racing, right?)
