Always nice to encounter the origin of a meme, and I just passed "From now on, every day is a gift."

Rank The Wire seasons based on theme song.

5
4
1
2
3

I know 2 is the OG but I can’t put it higher.

On the downhill slope of Season 6 of The Sopranos now, only 10 episodes to go. I only know how the series ends in the vaguest sense, so I’m excited to see how it all gets there.

The amount of time Christopher spends talking about how great recovery is vs the number of times he relapses is fucking legendary.

Spoiler: show
Chris’s intervention and Livia’s memorial are two of the best scenes in the series.

Congrats to Christopher on his continued sobriety since 2007 (three episodes left).

Well, we just finished season 6. It seems to be the lowest rated season by the majority of viewers. Idk. I think I liked it best. One season to go. Should be wrapping this odyssey up in the next 2-3 weeks.

Finished the series as the creators intended: watched on my phone at 5:30am on a Wednesday with one headphone in. Cinema.

All of Tony’s (non dream) sex scenes were cringe except for Svetlana.

October 23, 2025: Finished. The finale was fine. It was satisfying. My one complaint is that Don didn’t have a single scene with another series regular.

The penultimate episode about Betty was a gut punch. Her line about going to school killed me.

In 93 episodes, the feeling I had the most while watching was sadness.

This show doesn’t belong in the same breath as The Sopranos or The Wire. It had more stamina than Deadwood, but its highs weren’t as high. The Americans is also better. All that said, I’m glad I watched this, and I will mourn Betty Draper forever. She is truly one of the most devastating characters of all time.

Ps.i hate that this show never addressed Salvatore again after he was fired for refusing the advances of the Lucky Strikes creep.
