The Dutch have just been better. Some ludicrously skilled dudes standing in their way.

This Netherlands are weak but USA doesn’t seem to know how to score. It’s a shame, I think this is the best USA team I saw.

I don't know the USA squad all that well, but it seems like they desperately need a proper striker

Hopefully all the players lost some weight with all that running around.

Their diet is all carbs so not sure

carbs will do that, but playing in a trash bag and then vomiting after could help the weight come off.

I know very little about soccer, but doesn't it seem kind of important to have a competent striker? Was someone injured or does the entire country lack a player with that skill set?

the US coach was criticized for not calling a couple of the strikers that they used in qualifying onto the WC team

but they are not world class either

everyone wants a premier striker but few have them

US so disappointing though bc this is the same narrative the last 30 years
