I saw this a few days ago and my main takeaway is that it is kind of cruel to ask Harrison Ford to make this movie. He's an old man, and you're making him run and jump on stuff, and pretend to hit people. My own father is also 81 years old, and I scold him when he tries to run. A little piece of paper blew away in the wind when he was working in the lawn last summer and he fell down while chasing it. It's not safe, and it's not nice to make old men do stuff like that.
If we still want to see Harrison Ford in movies, let him be like King Lear or King Claudius or something. Don't make the poor guy run and jump.

i agree with you but Harrison Ford is not a regular human being. Im sure he can kick my ass and of course he is a better shape than me.

Well you do that with plastic bags at your current age, so.

Would you permit your dad to run, jump and pretend to punch people if he were getting paid one million dollars?

I just cannot bring myself to care. If it were directed by Spielberg, maybe.

You tighten up some of the chase scenes (or remove a couple), tighten up some of the travel stops for clues/artifacts and get this under 2 hrs it would be much better.

I don't have any problems with the actors or directing. It's just the story is way too drawn out.
I liked it, but it's average.

I will finally be seeing this today around 3pm. Really looking forward to it.

Burt's instinct is right. There's no reason beyond Gen X nostalgia to see this
