Caught the Freedom. And last night. Great show. Loud and heavy as fuck. They played about 3-4 new songs (newer than the latest album).

Yeah man, I love it.
Zeb did you ever check out Meatbodies? Chad, Fuzz's bass player is the lead singer/guitar. They have a solid album.
I haven't but I will.
I saw Meatbodies tonight. They rocked.

I second Meatbodies. That album is really good. There's a KEXP session kicking about too which is worth having a look at.
The new Meatbodies record is very enjoyable. Lots of Segall-type touchpoints all over it, plus track two Hole, that might as well have come straight from the
Gish sessions.
If I had to pin my flag to the Segall-associated mast in 2024 it would be the new Charles Moothart record, mostly because I prefer his vocals but I think the songs are also way stronger.
And then of course there's Segall's
Three Bells - Watcher, My Best Friend, Wait and What Can We Do are all instant classics in what is becoming a humongous catalogue.

Moothart's newish thing. For people who like the sound of guitars.

Yeah Fuzz rules. I might have to finally buy the debit LP that has the black velvet “fuzzy” cover.
I also need to go back and re-listen to III. Can’t say I remember too much from that one. But I and II are classics.

I lost track of Segall over the past few years, but I really liked the other Fuzz records, so this is exciting.

That fuzzy cover is so fucking nice. Have had my eye on that one for awhile.
II is probably a top three Segall record, I is fundamental and III has a great handful of tunes (Time Collapse, Nothing People, Spit, etc). They're building a really juicy body of work, I hope they add 1-2 more records to it before they're done.

I should’ve pulled the trigger when it was under $100. But I think I saw the reissues were stretched to 2LP? I wonder if that made any difference on the sound. I’ll have to look into that. I’m spinning the Levitation Sessions Live LP and man this band is a buzzsaw. Moothheart fucking just shreds.
I’ll have to consider catching them love again, they ruled. And are you saying the Fuzz tour is labeled as a Ty Segall tour?
****Reissue is still 1LP

No no, the Fuzz dates in the US are Fuzz. The dates he's doing here in Australia are billed as just Ty Segall, so no deets on who's in the band for us.

New Live album.
“Live” “From” “The” “BBC”
Ty Segall and The Muggers from 2016. Only six songs but this is from the wild ass Emotional Mugger tour. Ty only did vocals.

He didn't bring it here but I certainly loved that era. The record mostly holds up.

Definitely, I put it on last night night and man it was fun. I love listening to him on the drums man.
