It's hard not to feel guilty about putting him down. Killing your best friend sucks, even if it was for a good reason. Was I too early? Too late? I feel like it was time, but who knows. At least he got a belly full of hot dogs and hamburgers that day.

Sorry, Burt. Revelator posted in the Red Dead 2 thread this winter about how revisiting the game was a comfort after losing his dog, and that has obviously stayed with me. I hope you find some noise to fill the void. Dogs are the best. They’re so great that we get them knowing full well we’re going to be devastated by them in 11-15 years. They’re worth it.

No offense to anybody paying condolences to Burt but this thread is kinda just for dunking on Burt for being MAGA. Feels wrong to post good natured messages here.
