IIRC, the song was over and Ed just sorta went back into it by himself and got the crowd to chant back.

Out of the six gigs I saw this year, this one was by far the best. Absolutely killer show.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't think PHL2 was all that, but I wonder how C-ville will hold up once the boots are out. Some shows are amazing experiences in person but don't convey as well afterwards.

Philly II was a bottom 5 show for me, so I'd put Wrigley ahead of it easily. It wasn't all that bad, I just never connected to it.

Wrigley was an experience all on its own. It was a really, really weird concert experience. Driving out of the city that night at 3:30 AM, I just remember asking myself if that really happened. I seriously doubt anyone who saw that show will ever have a concert experience like that ever again. But Philly 1 had a great crowd all night and tons of energy and Charlottesville had the best crowd and best setlist I'd seen. The start of every song was like fuckin' Christmas morning at this gig. Release, In My Tree, Jeremy, Down, Big Wave, Sad, Breath, Alive, Baba O'Riley, Little Wing. So incredibly kickass from Pendulum to the end.

What really help this one was that it wasn't the same non-LB songs we had heard at every show. For one night the band realized that they have a huge fucking catalog in between Reviewmirror(Greatest hits) and Lost Dogs, and wrote a setlist from those instead of using them as random filler for the gap between Even Flow and Betterman.

I was at both Wrigley and Balt, and while Wrigley will always be the most unique, wierd experience I have had at a concert, it doesn't touch Balt in show quality. It didn't help that my seats were terrible for Wrigley.

But to some extent, yes. After being fortunate enough to get to 7 of the previous 8 shows, it was good to hear a departure from what they had been doing. It's not like what they played was particularly rare, or that rarities make a show, but I believe in this case it was the collection of quality catalog songs that weren't beat to death on this tour already that got the fans interested. The absence of songs like Even Flow, Daughter, Betterman, Last Kiss, Just Breathe was equally as important as the inclusion of stuff like Sad, Big Wave, SoH, and Thumbing because it made room for the songs hardcore fans love such In My Tree, Faithfull, and Breath.

and i was super excited to get breath, i had gotten to see it at PJ20, but it seems like that whole thing was a blur and i dont remember anyhting too specific from those 2 shows, so it was great to get it at a regular show, and have a perfect view to watch the guys play it
