Puncture #5 happened on the way home from an 18 mile ride on smooth pavement trails with 100 psi. Luckily I was already on my street.

Guys at the bike shop helped me find a pretty gnarly glass puncture hole on those shitty tires this $250 bike came with. Invested in some gatorskins today.

They've updated it a bit with some new pictures.

Yeah, loving these gatorskins.

Hard to believe I fell off my bike, sustained some heavy face bruising and chipped most of my front teeth off less than two months ago. I ride to and from work every day now and regular hit the trails when I have a day off. When me and the lady want to go for a dinner or grocery store in the neighborhood, we ride together. When I'm at home, I look longingly at my bike. Cycling for me has become an addiction that may actually not be healthy. I went from novice rider to hating being in a car in a very short time.

Jesus, how did I miss this thread getting bumped. Probably in one of my "guh, sports!" periods where I didn't even open the subforum.

BikeSnob also has some books if you're so inclined: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/3 ... ikeSnobNYC

I don't think I'll be doing anything on a bike until spring. Which reminds me, I still have to bring mine in for the winter.

Can I still join your sex cult in the spring, or will I have missed my shot?

I guess I'll have to click on that link when I get home and see what kind of shenanigans you're actually up to.
Now I know how you must feel in the iOS thread.

Living in Portland...you'd be surprised what people do on their bikes for fun.

Strava is blocked here but I sent the link to my phone so I can sign up there.
