I own that, but have only played it once.

There's also Sushi Go! Party which allows variations of the rules, also pretty fun.
For 2-person games, my partner and I have been loving 7 Wonders: Duel and Castles of Burgundy.

Tiny Epic Galaxies (I kickstarted Tiny Epic Zombies so we’ll see how that is when it arrives)
Meeple war
Power Grid
Merchants & Marauders (this one is sweet, except no one wants to play)
Star Realms
Rivals for Catan (two player card game version that is really a lot of fun)
Hanabi

Sagrada's a really pretty and fun, quick game to play.

Been playing the card version of Monopoly and it's way more fun than the real game, mostly because the games are usually over in 15-20 minutes and no one argues about the "right" way to play.

Boy I really
really hate Yahtzee. Like, I won't even entertain the idea of playing it.
We got Catan for Christmas and we enjoy it, just not sure if we're playing it right.
Anyone played the game Small World?
Can't get over the complication of even setting it up. Just seems like there's a lot there before you can even really get the game going.

i have "friends" who play these type games all the time...i used to join in, but kept turning down invitations so now i'm no longer invited
it always took me like half the game to figure out what i was doing, so i don't really mind

OK, how is yahtzee a good game for you? It appears to me to be more luck-based than skill.

The skill comes in knowing when to play certain rolls in the right place.
