I'll likely be wrong on this, and knowing my luck he could end up getting a godfather offer from Mark Davis. But it makes plenty of sense.

Oh Georgia, you're such a tease again. People are going to rightly say they couldn't stop the run but you won't win many games with only 13 points.

The entire state of Georgia is useless. They have the stupidest athletes imaginable and the worst coaching in every sport. If the entire state burned to the ground it would be an improvement.

Hey Bammer, what's up with Marcus Peters? The last time I can remember Coach Pete sending a player away for a long time was Titus Young. Hope it's not that bad.

Jameis Winston's disciplinary hearing was postponed. What a joke. Now he'll drop out of FSU (translation: enter the NFL Draft) to make FSU's jurisdiction moot.
If the NFL really wants to get on the right side of the domestic violence problem, they need to do their own investigation and if warranted make any suspension of him known before the draft takes place.

The Point Shaving deal sounds like absolute nonsense, but then... it's the NCAA so, who knows what he or the school later on will actually go down for...

Winston just has to play rope-a-dope until January 12th at the latest. The panel really needs to recognize this.
Hah, and now point shaving as well? There has to come a point where a guy is accused of so many things that you really can't give him the benefit of the doubt anymore.

Do you take everything you read in the media as fact guy? Seriously? I mean come on. Winston is gonna shave points for $5,000 when he will making millions in the NFL months from now. You're smarter than this. Winston is accused of point shaving by the same dude that accused Taji Boyd of point shaving because this fucking loser lost a lot of money.
And if you know anything about the code of conduct hearing at a major University you would do everything you could do get out of it.

Tallahassee has over 50 ESPN staff members scouring the city for dirt on FSU. That's how the whole memorabilia shit started.
1. Media (ESPN) brings up possible autograph issue which might be a rules violation.
2. FSU compliance does it's due diligence.
3. Media (ESPN) reports on investigation on the possible violation that they brought up in the first place.
But you will keep hating and FSU will keep winning. NFL will love Winston. Winston will be a top 5 pick. The end.

Suspension for what? Having sex in college is a crime now?

I think the point shaving thing has no merit--it's just so funny that the hits keep on coming. But as to what I bolded, remember that this is the guy that walked out of a Publix with crab legs--something he doesn't need to do when he's making millions in the NFL as well.
Of course it makes perfect sense for Winston to get out of it. I think he'll be able to do it, too. That doesn't mean that that's a good thing, though.

If you're read my rants in the NCAA sucks thread, you'll know that I think these types of rules are indeed bullshit, not just for Winston but for Todd Gurley and anyone else.

I have no particular hate for FSU. Hell, I rooted for them to beat ND earlier this season. And I agree Winston's talent on the field is exceptional. If that's all we had to go by he would be a top 5 pick. But there's more. Then again, all it takes is one team...

C'mon man, you know there's been all kinds of unanswered questions with how this was investigated, before we can just call this "having sex in college".

They need to do a better job against A&M right now...
Meanwhile, I really like how the Longhorns are looking. They should be back in major contention soon enough.

Yep, Strong just needs time. Defense is playing great today.

Why does Strong need time? With all of that talent there should have been more of an immediate impact. They are nowhere close to contending in the Big 12. Maybe 3 years and with their talent and recruiting base that is not acceptable. The BYU and K State games were embarrassing. K State should never be shutting out Texas. The Horns get their pick of the best players in the country. Remember this is the school that did not have room for Drew Brees. Getting owned by a college from Manhattan.............Kansas. No. This should not be happening. They (Texas) should have tried harder to hire Briles or Dan Mullen or James Franklin. All would have been better than Strong. Who I think is overwhelmed and will be swallowed up in a big time program as a head guy. I totally second guess the Strong hire until he starts to show some continuity. They are getting by (maybe going to a shitty bowl) right now because of their athletes. Just my 2 cents.
Also, why go to UT right now when you can go to A&M?

Texas' talent (especially on offense) has been overrated the past few years. We had a lot of coddled players who were either shitty or major character risks (which is why Strong kicked so many guys off the team). The Garret Gilbert fiasco and a few weak classes, combined with the ineffectiveness of the Harsin offense left us really anemic offensively, which has been the reason for most of our losses. Manny Diaz also didn't work out and we got shredded in a few games, especially by spread attacks with running QBS. BYU at the time had a strong Heisman candidate at QB (who has since been injured) and KSU has been a tough, well trained program for years, so while those losses were hard they weren't particularly surprising.
Strong took a basketball school to being a semi-powerhouse and developed several NFL caliber players in not very much time, so I think his resume is pretty well vetted. He is exactly the type of person to bring the toughness and accountability that Texas has been lacking.
And the A&M job was not open at the time and probably won't be, so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make? Basically, I think your $.02 are horseshit.
