I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this PPV--expected it to be rubbish leading into next month's. I'm very happy that Barrett is getting pushed and that they're playing him up as a brawler (if you haven't yet, look into his bare-knuckle boxing career). I knew the Shield would win, but I was legitimately surprised that they all went through. Couldn't care less about Cena; excited to see who Wyatt feuds with next.

I can't stand cena, but that was his best match in years.

Wanna try to guess the 7 MiTB entrants?

Ceasaro
Wyatt
Cena
Rusev
Big E
Kane
Kofi

I don't think Roman Reigns goes in just yet, although I'd love if he did. Do you think they'll do an Intercontinental match as well? I'll be sad if there's only one ladder match.

So, when do we get a storyline about brothers Bo and Bray?

It depends on Bryan. If they have to take the belt off of him it could be a completely different match. Assuming Bryan stays champ, I'll go with

Reigns
Rollins
Ambrose
Ziggler
Miz
Del Rio
Kofi

I have no idea who would win, I could see reigns being in it and HHH screwing him out of the win to set up a singles match between them. I've been reading that sheamus/cesaro and Barrett/rvd will continue on to the next ppv, so I would assume that counts them out.

If Bo gets over, there's great potential for a Bo/Bray feud if done right.

Oh my God, the Hebner twins angle with Hogan/Andre/DiBiase was friggin' amazing. I'm so into this Macho Man Wrestlemania Rewind that it's sickening.

What does everyone think of the Shield breakup? I was kinda hoping they stuck together for a little bit longer. I think Rollins will be ok in this role but those who have not seen Ambrose's work on the indies you need to. He cut some incredible heel promos. Think Jake Roberts meets Brian Pillman with some Piper. Just perfect.

I'm a massive Macho Man mark (my first and last favorite wrestler) I love it as well. I also really loved DiBiase. That angle was money....terrible pun. 8-) I was 7 when that angle went down and even then I didn't like Hogan so I immediately fell for DiBiase. He's also a fellow Nebraska boy. :nice:

raw is in minneapolis tonight and i'll be at the show. i'm not too excited- daniel bryan won't do much of anything, and it's early in the re-shuffling of storylines setting up future feuds/ppvs- but the rollins turn at least has me curious.

ambrose's wide eyes last week should go down as one of the greatest turn reactions ever.

the last show here was the elimination chamber ppv, which had shield v. wyatt's in an instant classic, so i'm kinda disappointed there's really no chance for something like that again.

I loved the shield breakup, even though I think it should have been Ambrose that turned.

Have fun at Raw tonight! Where are your seats? Kind of a lull period right now. Bummer you won't see a Bryan match. :(

Ambrose's reactions are the best. When Jake Roberts put the snake on him a few months ago? Classic.

the only reason I like the fact that it was Rollins is because I felt like he was going to be the one who was forgotten about (even though he's arguably the most talented)...the fact that he's with HHH et al kind of gives me hope that that won't be the case

Rollins is far and away the most talented in ring guy in the Shield. It's not even close really.

I just thought Ambrose would be the better heel, plus he's the only one of the 3 that isn't embarrassing on the mic.

Ambrose is gold on the mic. You tube some of his indie promos. He will be a top heel in wwe someday if they let him.

Agreed Rollins and Reigns are both pretty bad on the mic. They love Reigns though and he has the look they love. As for Rollins he's awesome on the ring IMHO.

I hope rollins(and Ambrose) don't get bumped down to the ziggler zone once they move on to the HHH/Reigns feud. I wouldn't be opposed to putting the title on Rollins this fall, he would have classic matches with Bryan.

I wouldn't be surprised if reigns flops when he gets his push, he actually reminds me a lot of Batista. He has like 4 moves, can't talk, and I have serious doubts about his ability to succeed outside of a faction.

I could see Rollins winning the title this calendar year. Bryan and Rollins had some amazing matches in Ring of Honor and had a great match last summer on Raw. I have a buddy who grew up in Iowa and did the indie wrestling thing for awhile and wrestled Rollins (when he was Tyler Black) a few times. Guy can flat go in the ring and has an arrogant streak. I think Rollins can have a heel run similar to HBK in the early 90's but ultimately Rollins how he works in the ring screams face more than heel.

I think Reigns has a little more likeability than Batista and he is a way way way better worker. Batista is lazy as hell. Reigns is still very green though and need time. I have heard rumors of adding a Shield member. It would be a great way to debut Sting who has signed with WWE. He is already doing interviews and documentary stuff. Being with Ambrose and Reigns would protect him too he wouldn't have to carry the ball so much.

Don't get me started on how they buried Dolph haha. He could have been huge. Bummer he never had his heel champion run like Jericho had a few years ago. Nobody outworks (maybe Bryan when healthy) and out sells (Rollins is close) Dolph right now. Apparently Dolph has been in the doghouse since last summer when he badmouthed HHH and Orton.

If you look at Batista just as the original evolution was breaking up, he's eerily similar to Reigns. He was over, and he wasn't the lazy worker he became soon after. Also, in today's WWE the quickest way to derail a guys momentum is to make him the anointed star. Fans will turn on him just to spite wwe management.

Oh totally agree with what you are saying. What Reigns has going for him is he is way more athletic than Batista. Also, the business is in his blood. I don't think Reigns will be a legend or anything and he has a ton of work to do but lots of potential is there.

Batista had some great matches with HHH, Eddie G and Undertaker. When he gave a shit he was good.
