It's even more painful to watch a play like that but still end up losing. It's like it never happened.

I get what you mean, and it's true to certain extent. But it still warms my heart to know that the dude who did THAT is the quarterback of my favorite football team.

but if he had blocked it, the niners would've had to accept the penalty and re-kick, and no FG was assured in those conditions. i'm grasping at straws, i know.

If you want to continue to whine about the refs...
The holding on the play was ridiculous (and missed).
And they were letting GB mug and rape the 49 WRs; including the play before the 2nd FG where the WR was pulled out of the way of the incoming ball....

Go ahead continue whining about the refs while you enjoy an early offseason and draft 7 picks later ...

The video of the fan throwing a temper tantrum is such typical meatball behavior. What a dork...

Show me again where I whined about anything, let alone the officiating. I'll give you time. Reading is hard though, so don't hurt yourself.
Enjoy drafting seven picks earlier and finishing in second place. George Halas used to say something like that right? "I'd rather finish behind the Packers and draft before them any day of the week." I mean, he must have, otherwise you wouldn't make a comment as stupid as that.
As for what I'll enjoy...well I'll continue to enjoy the 32-13 edge in head to head victories over the past 22 seasons. And then 10-3 edge in Division Titles over that same span. And the 3-1 edge in Conference titles during those same 22 seasons. And the 2-0 edge in Super Bowls since the start of the modern Packers era. And the fact that your beloved Bears just locked up a QB with a transcendent 1-9 career record against the Packers, while the Packers continue to employ a QB who owns the Bears to the tune of 10-2. Those are the things I'll enjoy.
But I'm sure you've got a well-worn 45 of the Super Bowl Shuffle somewhere you can put on for an intense crying-while-masturbating session to keep you warm tonight.

Hey man, things were looking pretty good us after the first 20 secs of SBXLI.
But, then, yeah, uh.

Don't worry man, I was born in and spent 20+ years in Chicago and its suburbs, so it's not hard for me to separate the good ones from the bad ones. You're still cool with me.

The closest thing to "whining" is spike wondering why the spot on Gore's last first down wasn't reviewed.
I don't think anyone thinks the 49ers win was anything less than hard-earned & deserved. It was an intense, tightly-contested game, and the team who ultimately made more of the opportunities they had won. Unless I'm skipping over a huge block of posts, it seems like all of the Packers fans in this thread have been handling the loss pretty well. Maybe it's just me, but I find the Kaepernick-Harbaugh 49ers a very easy team to respect.
