loved it.Daniel Bryan wrote:I watched The Babadook tonight.

I love zombies halloween. At least the first 1.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Watch Halloween H20 and I Know What You Did Last Summer last night.
1. Jamie Lee Curtis and Adam Arkin make the least appealing screen couple ever.
2. What the fuck was wrong with Josh Hartnett's hair?
3. Why is it apparently so goddamn hard for anyone to make a good Halloween movie? That shit should make itself!
4. IKWYDLS was way, way better than I expecting. Good direction, strong performances, surprisingly brutal, always compelling. I could have watched the opening aerial shot set to Type O Negative's "Summer Breeze" for hours. And the way it morphs into score that still matches the tempo of the song? Beautiful.

I haven't seen that in awhile but I do recall it being a little more intense and raw compared to many other mid to late 90's teen horror flicks.durdencommatyler wrote:LoathedVermin72 wrote:4. I goddamn ADORE that movie. I like the second one, too. Though, it's nowhere near as good.Strat wrote:I haven't seen that in awhile but I do recall it being a little more intense and raw compared to many other mid to late 90's teen horror flicks.durdencommatyler wrote:LoathedVermin72 wrote:4. I think Zombie's Halloweens are mixed bags. Lots of good stuff, but they still don't soar like I want them to. Honestly, Season of the Witch is probably my favorite Halloween movie. Getting away from the trappings of Michael Myers seemed to work better for me.Strat wrote:I love zombies halloween. It was weird seeing IKWYDLS in the theater and hearing Type O with such a mainstream audience. The movie was terrible but that opening was great.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I think Zombie's Halloweens are mixed bags. Lots of good stuff, but they still don't soar like I want them to. I was such a fan of the early Williamson movies...and yes, that one is special.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Watch Halloween H20 and I Know What You Did Last Summer last night.
